Title: The Sweet Potato Queens' Book of Love
Author: Jill Conner Brown
Book Number: RC 53169
Narrator: Carol Jordan Stewart

An absolute must read for all women. This is definatly a chick book. The
"Queens" are an actual group of women from Jackson, Mississippi. They
appoint themselves as queens for life. The appear each year in the Saint
Patrick's Day parade. They wear green sequined outfits, long, red wigs and
tiaras. Jill Conner Brown, the author and founder of the group, writes a
very funny account of rules to live and love by. Be careful, there is some
pretty strong language. I loved it, it made me laugh outloud quite a bit.

What makes it a chick book? Keep in mind just being about women doesn't make it a chick book. I think in general, humor is for everybody.

true, but she writes on topics that are mainly chick stuff, some men would enjoy it. Good point.
